New Moderators

Hello! I am looking for a few assistant moderators. If you are a moderator, you will be given one or two specific tasks to do. If the work is split up it is easier for everyone. For example, one moderator will be in charge of approving new characters. One moderator can be in charge of the point shop. Small things like that.

I will warn you, you will need to be on fairly often. At the very least once a day. And you get no special privileges as a moderator.

If that didn't scare you off, then who would like to be a moderator? Why should you be picked? And do you have a certain area you would like to work in?

I'll apply. You have seen me work as a moderator before. yes, sometimes I get a bit legalistic, but because this is a freeform RP I'll try my best to keep it casual. (without slacking of course). I don't have huge preference where I would work. I could do the point shop, or the characters, or whatever. I'm on pretty often.



EDIT: To avoid temptation to be too legalistic, I would advise you to put me somewhere besides character/power applications. however, I am not opposed to working there. I also already know how to use forumotion stuff, if that helps.

You don't need to know any coding whatsoever. You just work with nice, neat little drop down menus.

And you should pick me cause I love reading about characters and hearing their stories, and I've been on at least once a day.

I'm a former moderator from a few years back on a few forums (1 Rp forum, 1 hobby forum) both died out sadly. Also manage my own website and its forum though no one uses that anymore.

I tend to be on in the evenings and into the twilight hours during the week a time when most people aren't on forums so I could pretty easily cover the Characters/Power sheets posted up after most have retired for the night

During the weekend I'll probably be on in the afternoon and evenings. About the only time that I won't be on is Friday when I have class and play shadowrun and Saturday nights because that's when I DM my D&D game

I'm interested in applying as a mod, especially for the character/power approvals! I can usually get on in the evening during the week, and am on earlier on weekends! And I really enjoy reading about everyone's fascinating characters, and thier powers!

Actually Cyber, I gave it some prayer and a lot of thought, and I won't be able to mod. I thought it would be really cool to do this, but I'm not so sure if it'd be really wise of me to commit to modding with all my other projects and school.
Please, pick one of these other people with experience in modding.

@Akai: All right. If that's what you think is the wisest choice.

@Titan: Would you be willing to be the mod for the OOC section? Warning n00bs when they get too out of control, managing the point shop, etc?

@Argent: You are right. I didn't see that coming at all. Would you mind moderating new characters? You'd pretty much just have to make sure the word counts are reached and that people aren't blatantly ripping off copyrighted material, and then move the thread to the database when it is approved.

As for others who applied, there will probably be a need for moderators for the major cities soon. So there is still a chance you can help out. I myself, besides general upkeep, will moderate the new powers.

Taylor! GOSH. I just realized how fast paced this thing is. Hahaha. I have a basketball tourny coming up this week and then a worship team intensive practice session after that, so I doubt I could fulfill the duties of a mod. I'm just barely keeping up with one charrie as it is. So, this is just to say that I'm glad activity's booming on here, but I'm not going to apply. Looks like you've already got a lot of great mods here anyways. ;D Yup. That's all. Anne over and out!
