Argent New Power Application
Power Name: A-SP Grenade
Category: Biological
Description: Years of Dedicated research by the Alonzo Crime family, to better aid their officers in the fight against the super powered menaces have, brought about this small toxin made of hawthorn packed into a smoke grenade. The contents of the grenade spill out upon impact with a solid object filling the surrounding area quickly with a gas that quickly disables Magical Super Powers and making people of weak constitutions collapse.
Limits: The A-SP have several limitations, it only disables magical based super powers thus Biological or Technological powers still function. The effects of A-SP only expand out roughly 10 meters and last about 30 minutes (3 Posts) before the affected regains their powers only giving the User a short time to take down their enemy and take them into custody. Argent only has a limited capacity of 3 A-SPs that he can carry at a time and after he runs out he must return to the nearest Precinct to restock.

Disabling a whole category seems kind of broad. I'm not thinking so much about it being overpowered as it being unrealistic, even for a superhero game. Supernatural powers come from a variety of sources. The Ninja uses psychic power, but it could be drawn from the earth or just be quantum manipulation. Some biological and supernatural powers could even potentially be classified as the other. I'm not exactly sure how it should be fixed, but those are my thoughts. This is the first power I'm not too sure what the verdict should be What are your thoughts?

Its essentially a Temporary Anti Magic Field just re-flavored as a smoke grenade so its not that unrealistic for a Super Hero game, In X-men their a permanent vaccine against Mutations, Here its just a 30 min stun weapon only useful against Magic which doesn't prevent others from fleeing unless they choose to fall unconscious.
I'm thinking its going to cost anywhere between 3 and 10 slots because its not exactly a killer weapon, it simply forces people to think outside the same tactics much like a tech based character has to think without their toys on occasion.
Perhaps maybe a capacity like 1 per X number Slots dedicated to the ability that way it can't be spammed

I'm not so much referring to it being OP. I think it's fine how it is mostly, I was just worried about a squabble being created because someone with a "supernatural" power was complaining that an anti-magic attack shouldn't affect them because yada yada. I'll treat a power inhibiting technique as a binding technique and so it is approved at 5 slots plus one extra for every one more he can carry at a time.
