Physical Description: 5'11", white hair 2 inches long, golden irises, tanned skin, well-toned body, hard features like they were chiseled from granite. Strange markings on the palms of each hand, blue in color

Costume: Lumen wore an untucked white dress shirt under his light blue designer jacket. The jacket was a slim fit, along with the tee-shirt. He wore light tan khakis which made Black sun glasses sat over his eyes, covering them completely. His light green and brown messenger bag hung at his hip, causing him to lean a little to one side. Running shoes designed to look like loafers covered his feet, over his black socks. The messenger back has assorted vials and papers shoved in the pockets, sticking out in random places. A gold chain rested on his neck, a strange stone embedded on a pendant in the chain.

Biography: John was born to a normal couple, both physics scientists studying the effects of certain light proprieties on human cells, along with minor radiation and electricity exposure. They had no success however, until they used infant’s cells which responded in strange ways. When funding for their research was cut due to insufficient results, the couple resorted to new tests… on their own child. He was affected in ways that the parents couldn’t have imagined. Each cell turned into an electricity conductor, causing extreme pain throughout his body. The couple rushed to find a way to reverse the affects, but to no avail. Finally they resorted to implanting large modified Tesla coils in his arms surgically, and releasing the energy in bursts. These proved to become major problems, due to his need to constantly monitor his energy levels. His parents, still depressed over their failure to science and their son, found crutches to help them forget, mainly illegal ones. This caused his mother to overdose when he was thirteen, and his father the next year, distraught over his wife’s death. His parents’ deaths made John a runner, not staying in the same place for a day. During his travels he was sucked into the Villain’s black market, where he found a doctor when he was 20 who promised him riddance of his problem. This backfired, and instead of getting rid of his problem, he harnessed the energy into Lumen’s hands, letting him release the pent-up energy. The only catch was the doctor forced Lumen to become his personal assassin. This was only stopped when Lumen killed the doctor and set out to find a purpose.
