OOC: I figure since it is between me, Syren, and DK that it is ok to go a head and post. If I'm wrong let me know.

IC: Once Cub got her footing back she growled just as angry if not more so then the angel. she didn't care what he was yelling about. she was pretty sure it would be along the same lines as what she was about to say. "You bloody dish rag!" she roared then actually made a go at trying to tackle him. she was furious. she didn't even fully understand that madness this man just put her through and she honestly didn't care. as far as she was concerned there was no reason for it and the wraith looking creature needed a good fist to the hood.

OOC: Oh dear! lol ^_^ Cub, I think you and I are kindred spirits with the whole "not sacrificing character personality for safety" thing. As awesome as Cub is, that probably wasn't her best move ^_^ It's good though. Makes things interesting ^_^ As to your question, well, unless someone else objects, it makes sense to me. I think we should still wait for Xan and the glowstick (yes, I am enjoying that nickname ^_^) to post what's going on in their part of the world before continuing our little, ah, disagreement. ^_^

Also, DK, how far away are we from the cave? I'm asking because, being in the same thread, I would imagine we wouldn't be too far. Also, you just gave Lumen and Xan a slight advantage since by your calculations it'll take them more than fifteen minutes to get here. ~grin~

Xander was incredulous, he actually left him here! That vain ill-bred lout! He was the one who wanted to see how powerful they were! Now he left like he was the one who was attacked! Just because the Newbie had an advantage, he left, rather than saying he was outsmarted. What a coward.

Xander released the invisibility charm, while turning to the Newbie.

"So," he said with a smile "what brings you to this stuck-up, snob-nosed town?"

OOC: I wouldn't use that nickname Syren, people might misinterpret the meaning. so... your call

IC: Lumen looked over at the invisible, who had just appeared now that the other's left. Pondering the invisible's question, Lumen decided to answer truthfully. This guy was fighting the shadow guy just as much as Lumen, so trust might be a good thing.

"Not sure" Lumen answered. "This place seemed a bit calmer than the other options" shrugging he continued "obviously i was wrong"

Walking a little closer, Lumen sheathed his knife. This guy seemed less dangerous now, but that might be the mindset that he wanted Lumen to be in. Ignorance of his true intentions would be an ideal setup for the invisible.

"What are you going to do now?"

OOC: Hmm, I honestly don't know what you're talking about Lumen, (and I don't really want to look it up) but I'll take your word for it. ^_^ Sorry things got out of hand over here.

@Cub and DK: If we're going to move, I advise just going back to Greenwitch park. If we are agreed then I shall make a note of it in my last post here.

Also, I probably won't be on again until Sunday, or Monday. As I mentioned before, my sister is getting married, so I'll be pretty busy. Actually, starting tomorrow evening, so will Cub. Won't you? O.o ^_^

"What?" he asked. Shrugging, he looked around saying "Well, I don't think they're coming back, so..." he trailed off.

Turning back to Lumen, Xander laughed. "Why? Do you think you're coming with me?"

IC: Lumen looked at the Invisible. Was that an offer? "Well, we did just save each other's lives, if i remember correctly."

Lumen pondered for a moment, what did he really want? Any guess was as good as the next .

"But if you don't want to that's fine with me, I'll just go find the dirt-bag who tried to kill us by myself." Lumen started walking away

Turning to the now-leaving Lumen, Xander called out "Fine. We could team up, if just for now."

Looking for a road, Xander spotted one a few dozen feet from their current positions. A good a start as any. Turning back to the Newbie, Xander bowed and said "Before we start, a bit of introduction might be good. I'm Alex, and yes that is my real name."

IC: Lumen turned with a small smile on his lips. This guy really hated that dirt bag too.

"So," Lumen replied "Alex? You don't exactly seem like an Alex."

Lumen crossed his arms, sizing up the invisible. "I'm Lumen, and no that is not my real name. It's just the one I use."

Lumen thought the guy was being sincere, but he couldn't be sure. Might as well go with it.

"What kind of team-up did you have in mind?"

Xander laughed aloud at the newbie's response. Lumen? What the heck was that supposed to mean? Who did this guy think he was?

"Ok Lumen," Xander answered "How about we search for that guy, kill him, and then see what happens?" Gesturing to the road, Xander waited for "Lumen" to decide to take his offer.
